What is Conecta PUI?
Conecta PUI is a compliance platform that helps hotels in Mexico meet government requirements related to the Plataforma Única de Identidad (PUI). The PUI requires all hospitality establishments in Mexico to report guest data to the government as part of a national missing persons identification system.
Conecta PUI automates this entire process by syncing guest data directly from Cloudbeds, eliminating the need for manual reporting or custom API development.

How to connect Conecta PUI with Cloudbeds for the first time
Navigate to Load Data
Select Automatic Update
Choose Cloudbeds
Authorize the connection

After connecting
- All existing guests are imported from your Cloudbeds property (initial sync).
- Guests with a valid CURP are automatically added to your compliance registry.
- Guests without a CURP are placed in a pending queue for manual review.
- Future check-ins are synced in real time via webhooks.
What does the integration do?

Conecta PUI uses read-only access. It never modifies any data in your Cloudbeds account.
How to disconnect
From Conecta PUI
- Log in to your Conecta PUI dashboard.
- Navigate to Cargar datos → Actualización automática → Cloudbeds.
- Click the disconnect icon (plug icon) next to your connection status.
- Confirm the disconnection.
This removes all stored OAuth tokens from Conecta PUI. No further data will be synced.
From Cloudbeds
- Log in to your Cloudbeds account.
- Go to your Marketplace connected apps.
- Find Conecta PUI in the list.
- Click Disconnect or Revoke Access.

Limitations
- CURP required for PUI reporting: Only guests with a valid 18-character CURP can be reported to the PUI. Foreign guests without a CURP are tracked in the pending queue but are not reported.
- Read-only integration: Conecta PUI does not write data back to Cloudbeds.
- One property per connection: Each Cloudbeds property must be connected individually. Multi-property managers can connect each property from the same Conecta PUI account.
- Mexican regulation only: The PUI compliance requirement applies exclusively to establishments operating in Mexico.
